Just Cuts™ Cut-A-Rama in Bathurst on 1st June 2013
Just Cuts™ Stylists are once again getting together to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, with their 15th annual Cut-A-Rama event. This year Stylists from Just Cuts™ Bathurst head up the Cut-A-Rama styling team.
Cut-A-Rama will be held on Saturday 1st June at The Oxford Hotel in Bathurst NSW with over 300 people expected to attend. Just CutsTM hopes to raise in excess of $10,000 as they cut and style their way through the crowd over a three hour period, from 6 pm – 9 pm.
Cut-A-Rama is the kick off event to the Royal Flying Doctor Outback Car Trek. Held the night before the trek begins, drivers are proud to sport the crazy hair styles throughout the trek before heading back to work.
Each year, game participants and onlookers donate thousands of dollars to see their friends’ hair shaved or cut in styles more outrageous than one could ever imagine. From mowhawks, leopard spots and logos to rainbow coloured hair spray, Just Cuts™ Stylists do them all.
Just Cuts™ CEO and Founder (and dedicated trekker) Denis McFadden said “Just Cuts is proud to be associated with a national charity such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service. This is our 15th Cut-A-Rama and we’re expecting it to be bigger than ever, I have had a long association with the Royal Flying Doctor Outback Trek, and we all really value the service the Royal Flying Doctor provides, so it’s great to be part of this again. This year we are aiming for at least $10,000.”

About the Royal Flying Doctor Outback Trek
The Outback Car Trek is an annual fund raising event for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The event is for older 2 WD cars, in general terms for cars that were built before the Commodore and XD Falcons were manufactured - roughly pre 1978 vintage. Cars are specially prepared to endure the rigours of outback dirt road driving and are subject to a safety check before we head off each year. If you are interested in entering a car, or joining an established team, please drop us a line and we can help you on your way.
The Trek is normally 1 week in length and finishes on the June long weekend each year, with the 2013 event commencing in Bathurst NSW on Sunday morning June 2nd and finishing on Saturday evening June 8th on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
